Jadebrey is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who manages depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, eating disorders, ADHD, and sleep/insomnia. She has practiced in the nursing field for over 20 years. She earned a graduate nursing degree from the University of South Alabama and an undergraduate nursing degree from Northwestern State University in Louisiana. In addition to nursing degrees, she also earned a graduate degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
Jadebrey decided to become a psychiatric provider after witnessing a huge gap between available psychiatric providers and patients in need of psychiatric care. She understands the complex nature of mental health and that making the decision to pursue mental health care can be difficult. Her philosophy is to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms. She believes medication is a tool that can be used in addition to therapy to treat the whole person. Jadebrey is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services to adults of all ages.
Jadebrey encourages her patients to take an active role in their care, as she works alongside them. Her typical process for working with patients involves obtaining information regarding psychiatric history, psychiatric medication history, and symptoms through motivational interviewing. She uses this information to help her patients create an individualized medication regimen that works for them. Outside of work, Jadebrey enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering to help hurting individuals.
