Jaymie is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who has been working in healthcare for over 15 years. Since 2013, she has worked as a registered nurse and has experience in different areas such as critical care, inpatient medical care and specialty surgeries, cardiology, memory care and rehabilitation, and psychiatry. As a former member of a Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT), she became proficient in crisis prevention and intervention, and motivational interviewing. She is an instructor of mental health nursing at the undergraduate university level.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Jaymie’s practice philosophy is that a lot of healing can come from within. With a strong emphasis on holistic approaches to treatment; She currently specializes in adhd, anxiety, and depression. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I take time to get to know my patients. During your appointment, the time belongs to my patients. I will be present, open and honest during our time together. I will also advocate for you to the best of my ability.
