Dr. Chloe El-Atoum is a board-certified general psychiatrist. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and Psychology at Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY and earned her medical degree from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the State University of New York at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY. She completed her general psychiatry residency at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the State University of New York at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY.
Dr. El-Atoum has worked in a variety of clinical settings including psychiatric emergency rooms, first episode psychosis programs, obsessive compulsive disorder clinics and specialized hospital psychiatric units. She has worked with diverse patient populations including refugees, veterans, and those coming from underserved urban and rural areas. Dr. El-Atoum’s approach is patient-centered and holistic. Her treatment involves medication management together with a mix of supportive, cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic therapy.
